These increasingly sophisticated developments make employees or the public follow the lifestyle of this modern era, which of course makes technology more sophisticated and more accessible for all the needs we have. One of them is to facilitate needs; The Shopee application is the choice of government employees to meet fashion needs and have the desired fashion lifestyle. The influence of lifestyle is very influential in the choice of fashion which has an impact on the use of the Shopee application. The purpose of this study was to find out what lifestyle influences on government employees at the Gowa Regent\'s Office. This type of research is qualitative; the researcher used the Purposive Sampling Technique, which is a strategy if someone wants to be able to understand certain selected cases without generalizing to all cases. This research is divided into two categories of data sources: primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used in this study were observational interviews and documentation. The data management technique is carried out through four stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and technical analysis of the intensity of using the Shopee application among civil servants in terms of lifestyle in using the Shopee application, which draws conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the intensity of using the Shopee application is influenced by work environment factors, the desire to be recognized and cared for at work, and product offerings that are almost the same as well-known products. at affordable prices. The public\'s response to the news is critical because it can provide an idea of how it is received, understood, and interpreted by the people who read it in a community. In this case, this research discusses the response of Kendari city audiences to the Ferdi Sambo case, which can influence public perceptions of a topic or issue discussed in the news and influence people\'s opinions and actions. If a piece of news gets a positive response from the public, the news tends to be shared more and goes viral. On the other hand, if the news gets a negative response, it can have the impact of spreading the news slowly or even being ignored. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods using questionnaires to obtain information. This research shows that the people of Kendari City understand the content of the news about Ferdi Sambo and agree with the news and the results of the trial decision compared to those who disagree.

This research aims to analyze women\'s political participation in facing the 2024 simultaneous \nelections in Makassar City and wants to know the role of women in making choices during the \npost-simultaneous elections faced in this stage of the process. The data sources used are \nprimary data sources and secondary sources using a qualitative approach, and data collection \ntechniques through interviews and literature studies. The results of this research show that \nwomen\'s political participation ahead of the 2024 simultaneous elections has given rise to \nvarious behavior among women voters, their behavioris The emergence of a typology includes, \n(a) A place to get a job, such as becoming a successful team and joining the organizing \ncommittee ad hoc PPK, PPS and KPPS elections, (b) A place to gain benefits from the success \nteam who came directly or through intermediaries, community leaders giving gifts in the form \nof basic necessities, cash and clothes (c) A place for friendship as a form of social interaction \nbuilt by women voters, leaders the community, prospective candidates and neighbors at large\ncan gather and interact to strengthen social relations in the context of the simultaneous election \nprocess. but more emphasis is obtained, (d) voters have not yet made a choice considering that \nthe election has not yet taken place. The results of this research also show that voter behavior \nin the 2024 election has not changed much as it did in the 2019 election in Tallo sub-district. \nIn short, women\'s political participation in holding the 2024 elections presents major \nchallenges but also offers opportunities to increase women\'s presence in the political system. \nThrough the joint efforts of society, political parties, and government, an inclusive environment \ncan be created that supports women\'s broader and sustainable political participation.

This study aims to analyze the form of Social Integration after the village head election. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques by means of in-depth interviews. Determination of informants using purposive sampling technique, and data sources through primary and secondary data, and data analysis techniques used are qualitative analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that social conflict actually consolidated the various clans in Tawa Village so that social integration was maintained and does not lead to communal violence such as vandalism, murder, assault, arson, hostage-taking and various other forms of violent acts committed by a group of people at a certain time.. Although there is also polarization in the Tawa Village community between the calvari, eden, and getsamani sectors, social cohesion is increasing. This is to there is because, first, a common enemy, namely the incumbent who is considered unfair in issuing policies in the village and second, because of the beatings, insults against one of the contestants who won the village head election who is the Loleo clan so that the Loleo clan is reintegrated. This is different before the election, some clans in the village were actually tenuous but after the election the relationship got better. In addition, the social conflict in Tawa Village was peaceful due to the presence of a safety valve, namely the village head as a community leader who played a role in preventing the escalation of violence.

This study aims to determine and analyze what are the considerations of the Gerindra Party in determining the 2024 legislative candidates of Jeneponto, Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and literature studies. Determination of informants was done by purposive sampling. Data was collected through structured interviews involving the Jeneponto Branch Leadership Council as informants who have an understanding of the considerations in determining the 2024 legislative candidates of theindra party. The findings show that the considerations are being able to compete with other candidates both external and internal, having an emotional approach with the community and family, loyalty to theindra party, seeing the survey approach in the field towards legislative candidates, a large mass network. Determination through the results of deliberations of the branch leadership council and regional leadership council then submitted to the central leadership council, the internal determination of the jeneponto branch leadership council of the 2024 gerindra party, the figure is able to have a mass base, political financing, great influence, good family relations, maintaining the incumbent in the 2024 election, able to raise the jeneponto gerindra party, commitment to the gerindra party to support the general chairman of the 2024 gerindra presidential candidate.

There are no standards for water mist systems in Taiwan. When installing a water mist system, the instructions in the installation manual are relied upon. However, this study uses simulation software (Fire Dynamics Simulator, FDS) to explore the impact of sprinkler head density on house fires. When considering the impact of fire extinguishing performance, it was found that if the maximum installation distance between nozzles is set according to the user manual based on economic benefits, the fire extinguishing effect will be less than ideal. Therefore, this study conducted simulations by increasing the nozzle density to analyze and discuss the nozzle setting density.

Failure evaluation and prediction of a structure are important procedures when inspecting aged dams. This study establishes a failure criterion model on the basis of an efficient method for the risk assessment of an aged dam. The proposed methodology incorporates discontinuous deformation analysis (DDA) with a numerical manifold method (NMM) to process predictable simulation. According to large-scale analyses, the programs of DDA+NMM follow the energy-conservation principle to simulate the interaction of deformable blocks and disconnected joints within a discontinuous system, which consists of many blocks shaped in an arbitrary polygon. However, for small-scale estimation, disjoined layers are assumed along seepage flow lines which are potentially yielded by saturated groundwater levels because of overbalance precipitation. The computation recruits open-source programs to efficiently evaluate an aged earth dam by modeling the groundwater seepage flow lines as possible block joints and creating reasonable risk criteria. An aged dam built in Taiwan more than 70 years ago, serves as the case study. The necessary parameters regarding the geotechnical and geometrical properties are adopted from an official report of dam safety assessment. Four types of potential failure modes attributable to dam topology and critical joint distribution are categorized by several combinations of critical risk factors coupled with extreme loading conditions. Both static and dynamic simulations of various levels of water pressure, uplift force, possible joints, and material coefficients are applied. Furthermore, a risk-assessment criterion table, with three-level risk indexes, provides a reference for failure alerts for the proposed dam structure. As the result, the assessment procedure can help in predicting potential failure modes as well as in determining risk-assessment criteria for proper hazard-prevention strategies for aged dam structures in the future.

The mortars produced currently have adhesion and mechanical resistance and physical properties often unsatisfactory to cater for projects with large loads and environmental conditions more severe. This work aims to study the mechanical properties and durability of coating mortars produced with excessive lime or cement. Tests were carried out air incorporated content; resistance to compression, flexion traction and pull off; elasticity modulus; water absorption; porosity, fissurability e digital microscope images. It was CP-II-E-32 cement, CH-I lime and quartz natural sand. The results showed that the addition of excessive binder maximizes some mechanical properties such as compression, tensile and elasticity modulus, yet reduces the adhesion and durability properties analyzed. It is concluded that it is necessary to get the proper content of cement and lime for mortar mixed with a focus primarily on adherence and durability indicators, being these more sensitive to variation properties of materials.

An artificial neural network (ANN) based modeling has been proposed for the estimating the static response of concrete beams retrofitted with hybrid FRP sheets using artificial neural network technique. Ten beams were cast in two series and tested under four-point bending. Two beams were left unstrengthened to serve as control specimens and eight beams were strengthened with hybrid FRP sheets with different thicknesses. The percentage of steel reinforcement, spacing of stirrups and mechanical properties of FRP sheets were considered as input parameters. The study parameters such as strength, deformation, ductility and crack pattern were considered as target parameters. The results predicted through ANN modeling exhibited better correlation with experimental results.

This study investigated to compare and narrate the difference in the role of team building, through self-assessed inventory by VC (executive leader), observation sheet filled by co-workers as well as the narrated vision of four executive leaders of newly established university of the region. Mixed research method was selected in which Concurrent triangulation design was followed. Population of the study included all Vice Chancellors of Public sector universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Concurrent Mixed Method sampling technique was used. Four Vice Chancellors of newly established Universities and five observers among their co-workers of each VC were taken as participants of the study. A part of Global Executive Leadership Inventory developed by Dr. Manfred F.R. Kets de Vries (2005) was used to collect self-assessed and views of the colleagues regarding respective executive leaders. The difference among the self-assessed view of the executive leaders was calculated by Friedman test. Self-assessed and observed views were compared paired sampled t-test as well as the narrative views of four executives were also compared by matrices and topology. Narrative part was interviewed in the form of structured questions, transcript and interpreted. For trustworthiness of study, prolonged engagement and persistent observation, triangulation of data (from inventory, observation sheet and interview) and member checking was the part of study. There was significant difference among the self-assessed views of VCs regarding team building at newly established universities, self-assessed view and views of their co-workers and narrative views of executive leaders. For team leadership, egalitarian style, knowledge of emotional intelligence and target-oriented communication to be a guide and facilitator is important.

This study focuses on the similarities and differences in Global Consumer theory, National Identity Theory and Categorization theory in a developing market. From the field of sociology; National Identity Theory literature has been linked with marketing field by using concepts of country branding and country of origin (COO). ‘Categorization Theory’ that has a significance relevance in this study has been tested that consumers apply categorization to specific “country’s product category (e.g Japanese product), a geographic or regional category (e.g Asian product) or may be two distinguish categories of “domestic” and “foreign” products. \nFor this purpose a sample of 616 respondents was selected. By the results of structural equal modeling, it revealed that there was positive association of categorization theory is found in this region. Pakistani consumers were more concerned about displaying their image and status by using foreign products in their relevant social groups. Similarly Value consciousness consumers had positive association with the home product country image and negative association with the foreign product country image. \n Global consumer culture had a positive influence on Cosmopolitan consumers. They were found to show preference for both foreign product and domestic products. Whereas National Identity theory had no influence on Pakistani consumers because they felt that they were quite patriotic but still hold a positive perception about foreign country’s products; and their ethnocentrism did not pose a hurdle in their decisions to buy foreign products.

To experimentally investigate the change in air distribution in cold storage because of induce draught, a reduced scaled experimental setup is developed. Air velocity is measured by using hot wire anemometer. Air distribution is most important criteria for design and operation of cold storage chamber. Quality and life of food stuff in cold storage highly dependent on air distribution as temperature filed are likely varies as per flow of air. In this paper customization of air flow using induced duct is discussed. It has been observed that in a cold chamber air flow is heterogeneous it cause number of temperature zones in chamber, high respiration rate and various relative humidity zone, all these leads to loss of stored items through perish. An experimental setup of geometrically similar reduce scale model of cold storage (6m (l) x 4m (w) x 4m (h)) is developed by taking ratio one fourth of actual dimensions. Outcome of this work proposed that use of reverse duct to produce induce draught for enhance the air flow in farthest part of cold room, which will leads to improve the temperature distribution in chamber. Uniform air flow distribution help to reduce the loss of perishable agricultural product and increased their safe storage period
